As an Embedded Software Test Engineer at Qorvo Vietnam, you are an integral part of the circuit’s product development team. Involvement begins at the system requirement definition and continues through system verification and test. You will play a vital role in supporting the life cycle of the entire range of products right from its inception to the final implementation of the software application.
We are looking for a passionate Embedded Software Test Engineer to drive the coordination, planning, estimation, and execution of test activities to ensure a correct functionality of PAC products, in specific, Battery Management System, BLDC Motor Application.

RESPONSIBILITY
• Analyze and understand software/firmware requirements to create test strategy, test plan, test procedure and infrastructure for testing.
• Develop and execute automated testing and test concepts according to the specified test cases.
• Create and maintain test documentation including procedures, processes, tools, build and test artifacts etc
• Identify, analyze, manage and create report of issues, defects that occur during testing
• Be part of technical reviews for the specification of software requirements, architecture and designs.
• Follow established quality processes and standards for formal delivery of test artifacts.
• Look for in-depth solutions for engineering problems, improve or develop new methods and approaches with product applications to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related degree is required for this position.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Firmware/Software Validation and Verification.
• Familiar with firmware testing methodologies, including functional, performance and regression testing.
• Understanding embedded firmware development process.
• Software Unit, Integration and Qualification testing.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with firmware testing tools, such as debuggers and emulators, measurement instruments, oscilloscope, power supply, etc.
• Experience with C#.NET is advance.
• Understanding of hardware components and interfaces, such as microcontrollers, I2C, SPI and UART communication protocols.
• Knowledge and experience with Version Control Systems (VCS): GIT, etc.
• Good time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and collaborate cross-team on multiple projects.
