2. MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC
***AREA OF RESPONSIBILITES
- Develop and maintain a professional and constructive relationship with factories and material vendors.
***DESCRIPTION OF THE MAIN TASKS
- Build and manage relationships with existing and new materials suppliers, including regular visits.
- Assess new materials & suppliers. Communicate with suppliers on cost/lead time/MOQ.
- Review and create strategy for effective cooperation between materials vendors and factories.
- Liaise with developers for information on factory relations with vendors.
- Collect details of any new materials/suppliers being specified by brand from Development Team.
- Partnering with Purchase Manager, evaluate all suppliers for lead-time & On-Time performance and report monthly.
- Regular evaluation of existing supply base to find consolidation options or new suppliers to benefit SF or its customers.
- Assist in settling any quality issues between shoe factories and suppliers.
- Have an appreciation of material source countries and be able to evaluate options and propose any that may be of benefit to SF & its customers.
- Continuous research into new materials and potential suppliers
- Drive the development and sourcing of new materials, ensuring that SHOEfabrik can offer its customers new innovative and exciting technologies that are commercially ‘fit for purpose’ of shoemaking.
- Manage the maintenance and development of the in-house material library and related documents.
- Oversee in detail, all the materials being used for designated brands on seasonal basis. Collect full information for all materials and maintain through the season.
- Review and discussion of new material concepts or customer briefs with PDM’s & Materials Team to ensure correct execution of materials development request.
- Working closely with the Materials Team, understand the specialities and capabilities of our core supplier base.
- Develop strong relationships with customers where required.
- To be the central point of contact for external Product Design Managers for SHOEfabrik.
- Management of the day-to-day work of Materials Manager and Coordinator.

3. YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC
***MININUM REQUIREMENTS
- University or college degree in Textile and footwear.
- Strong background knowledge & experience in leather & other shoe materials
- Knowledge of global supply base for leathers & non-leathers
- At least 8 years of Materials experience.
- Specific Knowledge and Skills - Negotiation, analytical skills.
- Good at English communication skills, Chinese speaking is a plus.
- University or college degree in Textile and footwear.
